“The young girl in love with horses began to paint them, and then landscapes, then still lifes, then abstracts, then cats, dogs, buildings, anything… and finally, plein air! As an art major in college, I was led into other artistic endeavors but I never left painting behind. Moving to New Mexico, I became a founding member of el Zocalo Art Gallery." Entranced by the northern New Mexico landscape and light, I have been blessed by the surroundings and camaraderie of other artists. My own family has put up with my obsession and encouraged all my artistic endeavors - well, they had to! The gift from my mother those many years ago has taught me every kind of life lesson and has given me a lifelong artistic identity and passion for all art!”
